Summer Theater
The town of Leavenworth has become increasingly noteworthy for the excellence of live productions each season by the renowned Leavenworth Summer Theatre. Every summer for the last ten years, the highly popular Sound of Music has been presented in the spectacular ski-hill theatre outdoor site. At the Hatchery Park Amptitheatre, two other classic productions are presented every summer, "live, outdoor, under the stars". A fall performance is presented during November at the unique and lovely Sleeping Lady Chapel Theatre, and a classic Christmas performance takes place at the same site during December.
